Presidents of Argentina and Brazil to visit Bush on Sunday

Fernando De la Rъa and Fernando Enrique Cardoso, presidents of Argentina and Brazil, respectively, will meet George Bush during UN General Assembly to take place in New York this weekend. On separate US Head of State will receive only two Latin American leaders, and it is not accidental that De la Rъa and Cardoso are the chosen ones. Both countries are united by a common economical crisis, highlighted by the desperate restructuring of Argentinean public debt in the last days. Yesterday, main financial consultant agencies appointed Argentina on "Selective Default" on its debt and feared about probable negative effects on other countries of the region. In turn, many Washington influent analysts claimed for a joined way out to the endemic problems of Buenos Aires and Brasilia to avoid a spread out of bankruptcies on the squashed Latin American economies.
