Putin, Matviyenko Discuss Coming Rise In Salary Of Russian Budget Users

Russian President Vladimir Putin met Vice Premier Valentina Matviyenko who is in charge with social issues in the Russian Government. They discussed the rise in salary of Russian budget workers. The salary will be increased by 40-60 per cent and salaries of teachers, doctors and cultural workers will be increased twice since December 1. "I am sure the government will cope with this task in spite of all problems," the Russian President said.
