Opening Of Caspian Pipeline System Not To Change Volume Of Oil Export

The opening of the pipeline system of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium will not change the volume of oil export from Russia and Kazakhstan in 2001 and 2002, LUKoil President Vagit Alekpyorov said at the ceremony devoted to the opening of the pipeline system from Tengiz to Novorossisk today. According to him, the opening of the new route for oil supplied from the Caspian region will not result in a growth in the oil export, and this system will allow for systematizing the oil export from Russia and Kazakhstan.
