Russian Cattle Breeding Industry Needs At Lest 20 Years To Recover

The Russia cattle breeding industry will need at least 20 years to recover, president of the Russian interregional fund of cattle breeding Andrey Zhuravlev announced in an interview with RBC. He reported that the number of meat livestock in Russia is only 160,000 as compared to 38 million in the USA and 4.5 million in France. In addition, Zhuravlev announced that France is ready to allocate a credit of 120m francs for ten years to the joint Russian-French program for the development of meat cattle breeding in Russia.
