A statement adopted on Saturday by the constituent congress of the All-Russian party "Unity and Fatherland" said that participants in the forum appealed to Russian citizens to "get united around values which were dear to every human being: freedom, justice, law and agreement". "We are living in one country and have common fate which makes us a nation, and in the name of this unity we are calling you to join our ranks," runs the statement. Members of the new centrist party stated, at the same time, that their words would not differ from deeds, and they were ready to start doing everything to change life of every Russian citizen for the better". The constituent congress of "Unity and Fatherland" has also elected its governing bodies today.
