Russia To Begin Exporting Chevrolet-Niva Cars In 2003

Russia may begin exporting its Chevrolet-Niva cars to Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia in 2003. This announcement was made at a recent presentation of a joint enterprise GM-AvtoVAZ in Tolyatti, a source in the press service of the car manufacturer reported to RosBusinessConsulting. In 2004, experts will estimate the cost of production of Opel Astra cars. After that, the company will launch production of Chevrolet-Niva hatchbacks and vans, and elaborate on new projects.
