President Putin Concerned Over The State's Fulfillment Of Its Social Security Obligations

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the federal government to pay more attention to the population's social and economic rights in connection with the International Human Rights Day, marked on Monday. Opening a Cabinet meeting in the Kremlin today, the Russian president said "it was not accidental that this day was established in the second half of the 20th century after the two wars." Vladimir Putin instructed the government to "reconsider the state's social security obligations from the viewpoint of the decisions made on the budget." The president also pointed to the need to keep a watch on "the passing of laws on the pension reform and labour legislation."
