Vladimir Putin Heads Meeting On Development Of Diamond Production

A meeting on the development of the diamond industry is underway in the Kremlin. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who heads the meeting, said at the beginning of the meeting that several issues and, in particular, protection of state property and development of diamond manufacturing, were on the meeting's agenda. The meeting participants include Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Economic Development and Trade Minister Herman Gref, Yakutia's President Mikhail Nikolayev, Yakutia's Prime Minister Vasily Vlasov, and Deputy Finance Minister and Head of Gohran, the Russian State Repository, Valery Rudakov.
