Oil Production By Slavneft Rises By 21.8% In First 11 Months Of 2001

The volume of oil production by the Slavneft oil company reached 13.608 million tons in the first 11 months of 2001, having exceeded the planned amount. It also exceeded the oil production volume for the corresponding period of last year by 21.8%, the company's Press Service reported. The volume of production by the main oil producing enterprise of the company, Slavneft-Megionneftegaz, reached 11.432 million tons in that period, which exceeds the figure for the first 11 months of last year by 3.3%. The average daily volume of oil production at the company in general rose by 7,394 tons a day to 40,741 tons a day compared to that of 2000. The volume of gas production by all enterprises of the company exceeded the planned volume by 250.5 million cubic meters and reached 1,256 million cubic meters (a 92.5% increase). The volume of drilling by oil producing enterprises of Slavneft reached 705,600 meters in the first 11 months of this year, exceeding the figure for the corresponding period of last year by 28.3%. 297 new wells were put into operation in the first 11 months of this year.
