Journalists are attacked in Volgograd region

Reporter of Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper in Volgograd Andrey Serenko was attacked on Monday morning. The journalist is at hospital now. He explains the attack with his professional activity only.

Unfortunately, this was not the first case when disagreeable journalists are disposed of in criminal ways in Volgograd. Several times journalists were even assassinated. Not only criminals but law enforcement officers are said to be connected with such assassinations. Three weeks ago editor of Oblastnye Vesti newspaper Irina Starodumova was attacked. Businessman Boris Izgarshev was cruelly beaten in the center of the city. It is strange, but the crimes mentioned has not been discovered yet.
