Chinese Shipyard To Build Three Ships For Russia

China's Xinghe shipyard and Russia's largest Far Eastern shipping company have signed a contract for the construction of three ocean-going container carriers, that shipping company's press center reports. Each ship will have an unlimited range, displacing 9,000 tons each; moreover, they will be fitted with automatic controls. Consequently, few sailors will be required to stand watch. The Far Eastern shipping company has received 12 vessels over the last 10 years.
