Federation Council To Consider 2002 Budget Draft On December 26

The Federation Council, the Upper House of the Russian Parliament, will consider the 2002 budget draft at a meeting on December 26. This information was announced by member of the Federation Council, St. Petersburg governor Vladimir Yakovlev, at a meeting of the Federation Council's economic committee today. He urged members of the committee to elaborate on their proposals concerning the budget before that meeting.
