Vladimir Zorin Has Been Appointed Minister Of The Russian Federation

Before leaving for Greece on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on appointing Vladimir Zorin to the post of Minister of the Russian Federation. Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov spoke about it opening the session of the Cabinet of Ministers. He had met with Vladimir Putin before his leaving for Greece. Mikhail Kasyanov reminded the ministers that the post to which Vladimir Zorin had been appointed was instituted a month ago "to formulate questions of the nationalities policy and to deal with them." According to the Prime Minister, Zorin for a long time worked in the State Duma where he headed the committee for the nationalities policy.
