The Siberia-Urals oil, gas and chemical company may take part in the project for gas utilisation in Iraq. This was disclosed by Alexander Ryazanov, member of Gazprom board, at the press conference Friday. According to him, the issue of SIBUR participation in the project was discussed with Gazprom, the major shareholder of the company. As far as participation in assimilating gas deposits in Iraq is concerned, this is a prerogative of Gazprom, Ryazanov stressed. However, he noted, no specific decision on Gazprom participation in these projects has been made so far.
