Iraqi war could prolong construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline
The beginning of the US military operation against Iraq could influence the construction of the major export oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev stated to journalists. According to him, pipes for the pipeline are delivered from the Turkish port Iskenderun. If "the northern front opens", pipe delivery to Azerbaijan could slow down, which will lead to delaying the construction of the pipeline.
