Interros and Gosincor-holding make deal

Gosincor-holding has purchased a blocking stake in Aviadvigatel and some other assets of enterprises of the Perm engine-producing complex, the companies said in their joint statement.

Gosincor-holding and Interros have made a preliminary agreement on buying a blocking minority ownership in the Perm engine plant, which is to be implemented in the event Pratt&Witney refuses to buy this stake. The total sum of the deal is about $50m.

Denis Manturov, the deputy head of Gosincor, declared that the purchased assets would be transferred to the Russian Property Relations Ministry, in accordance with the President's decree on liquidating Gosincor.
