Murmansk Governor to Speak in London of Oil and Gas Prospects in Arctic Region

Governor of the Murmansk Region Yuri Yevdokimov has set off for London to take part in the Oil Week forum, the largest of its kind for representatives of the world oil and gas industry. Every year about 1,500 leading businessmen from the oil and gas industry gather together in the English capital to discuss a variety of issues concerning geological prospecting, extraction, trade, transportation of energy resources and production sharing.

As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the governor's press office, Mr Yevdokimov will speak at the forum today about the prospects of the oil and gas industry in the Arctic region.
