Switzerland Imposes Economic Sanctions on Ukraine
Switzerland has officially announced that it has imposed economic sanctions on Ukraine. These sanctions came into force yesterday. A Rosbalt correspondent was informed of this at the Swiss embassy in Kiev.
Representatives of the Swiss government said that this move had been taken on the advice of the FATF, the international agency for the prevention of money laundering.
Such sanctions have already been imposed on Ukraine by the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Austria and Finland on the recommendation of the FATF.
