Russian Finance Minister Says Federal Budget for 2002 Fulfilled by 100 Percent

The federal budget for 2002 has been fulfilled by 100 percent both in revenues and expenditures, vice-premier and finance minister Alexei Kudrin said.

Kudrin pointed out at a meeting with heads of regional private mass media being held in Moscow today that the plan for revenues to the budget had been over-fulfilled by two billion roubles. He also stressed that the insufficient receipts from the ministry of taxes and dues was overlapped by other incomings, in particular from the State Customs Committee and the property relations ministry.

On the whole, Kudrin pointed out, the year 2002 was successful for the country's budget system.
