Russia to repay $1.09bn to foreign creditors in January 2003

The amount of Russian payments to foreign creditors will reach $1.09bn in January 2003, a representative of the Department of Foreign Debts of Russia's Finance Ministry told RBC. $346.4m will be paid to foreign governments, including $268m in principal payments and $78.4m in interest payments. $419,73m will be paid to international financial organizations, including $404.41 in principal payments and $15.32m in interest payments. Coupon payments for Eurobonds are to reach $320.53m.
