RTS trade volume grows in Q4 2002

The trade volume on the RTS stock market grew by 29 percent to $911m in the fourth quarter of 2002, compared to $706m in the third quarter of last year. The average daily trade volume advanced by 33.1 percent to $14.2m in the fourth quarter, compared to $10.7m in the third quarter of 2002, the press service of the RTS reported.

The RTS index reached the level of 359.07 points on the last working day of the fourth quarter, which was 7.5 percent higher than on the last working day of the third quarter (334.06 points on September 30, 2002).
