Energy award to produce non-standard solutions

The establishment of the International Energy Award will contribute to the progressive development of the energy sector and the search for "beautiful and extraordinary solutions", YUKOS CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky said commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin's address on the occasion of establishing the International Energy Award 'Global Energy'. The YUKOS CEO was quoted as saying the fund of the award has virtually unlimited resources; it is formed on the basis of personal contributions from Russia's largest energy companies. "The future rests with economic stability. And an integral part of this stability is Russia's and the world's energy welfare", Khodorkovsky said.
