US embassy in Moscow set out its concern with numerous skinheads’ attacks on foreigners
Another foreigner was beaten up in the Moscow metro. This time it was a citizen of Senegal, Adam Bari. According to the information that was received from the Internal Affairs Department of the Home Ministry, Bari (32) was attacked on Marksistskaya metro station by seven young men of 18-20 years of age. The criminals had their hair cut very short, they were wearing army boots. Bari, a student of the Institute of Communication, was hospitalized with numerous injuries. Police say that the Senegal citizen was another victim of skinheads. The investigation is underway.
There have been several occasions of attacks on foreign citizens in Moscow this year. Manuel Martines Gonsales (36) from Nicaragua was beaten on Smolenskaya metro station on August 14. A citizen of Turkey was attacked on Kievskaya metro station.
Kemba German Sumele (38) from Cameroon was beaten up on July 13 on the territory of Troparevo resort area in the Moscow region. The man was also a student of one of Moscow universities.
The US embassy in Moscow set out its concern on April 12 regarding the incidents of skinheads’ attacks on foreigners, including American citizens. US Consul General in Moscow James Warlick said to Interfax that a group of American citizens was attacked by skinheads on April 7 on the Red Square and on Old Arbat street.
A citizen of Iran was beaten on February 9 in a metro train. Two Chinese citizens were beaten up the same day.
