Deutsche Telekom is not planning to retreat from the Russian cellular phonemarket, company sources said, after a report in the German press that itwas looking to sell its stake in Russia's Mobile TeleSystems.Pulling out of the profitable and growing mobile phone operator - thebiggest in Russia - would make no sense, a source in Deutsche Telekom wasquoted as saying, although they said reducing the size of the stake frommore than 36 percent at the moment may be an option. T-MobileInternational, which holds the stake in MTS, would almost certainly not gobelow 25.1 percent, as it seeks to use its influence to determine strategy,the sources said, the Russia Journal reported..
