Russian Security Council Secretary survived a car accident

Five people were killed, nine were seriously wounded

As a result of the car accident, Vladimir Rushailo had a brain concussion, had his thorax and head hit. This was said by the surgery department of the regional hospital.

The accident happened on Monday morning, at 8:37 Moscow time in the Far East of Russia. The accident happened because of the Toyota driver. Being drunk, the driver swerved into oncoming traffic and ran into the vehicles of the procession.

Five people were killed as a result of the accident. Four of them were Rushailo’s security guards. Colonel Sharov, the chief of the department for anti-terrorist struggle of the Kamchatka region was among them. Nine people were wounded in the accident, including the governor of the Kamchatka region, Mikhail Mashkovtsev, and the chairman of the regional deputy assembly, Nikolay Tokmantsev.

Rushailo’s deputy Nikolay Soloviov is currently in the state of coma. Other victims of the car accident have been hospitalized. Their condition is estimated as relatively hard.

Criminal proceedings were instituted on the fact of the accident. Deputy Prosecutor General of the Far East Konstantin Chaika said that he was personally in charge of the investigation.
