Finance Minister promises to settle arrears of wages

Problems with wage delays in regions and republics of Russia will besettled this year, Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin announced at a briefingin the house of government today. He reported there were only three or fourregions where these problems could remain by the end of the year. Kudrinnoted this could happen due to the fault of regional leaders but not due toobjective causes. The Finance Minister believes that problems with arrearsof wages will not emerge next year..
