Reconstruction in Krasnodar territory

According to Tuesday's reports, 1,270 dwelling houses, 40 housing and communal objects, 7 schools, 4 kilometres of motor roads and 14 bridges have been restored in Novorossiisk (a port on the Black Sea) and its surroundings, which suffered from the flood.

Traffic and railway transportation and the life-support system have also been restored in the region, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry said on Tuesday.

Divers of the Defence and Emergencies Ministries continue the search for bodies of the flood victims in the sea near the settlements of Shirokaya Balka, Abrau-Dyurso and Sukhaya Shchel. The number of the victims (58) has not increased yet.

In addition, 53 WWII explosion-risk objects, were found on the surface in the disaster area. Novorossiisk witnessed bloody battles, when the nazis were trying to break through to the Black Sea.

A waterspout and heavy rains hit Novorossiisk, Anapa, Krymsk and other 15 settlements last Thursday, damaging 12,000 dwelling houses and administrative buildings and breaking railway transportation and traffic.
