Sibneft's share in Moscow Oil Refinery advances

According to an analytical report of the Renaissance Capital investmentgroup, Sibneft has increased its share in the Moscow Oil Refinery to 38.5percent. Sibneft has neither confirmed nor refuted this information.As it was reported earlier, Sibneft bought a 36 percent stake in the MoscowOil Refinery from LUKoil at the beginning of 2002 and then increased itsshare to 37 percent. The total amount of funds spent on these deals was$254m. The Moscow Oil Refinery's shareholders are also the Central FuelCompany that belongs to the Moscow government (a 51 percent stake) andTatneft (a 10 percent block of shares)..
