Putin signs decree on awarding 2001 state prizes in science and technology

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding 2001 state prizes in science and technology sphere.

Academicians Zhores Alfyorov, Renat Akchurin, Viktor Sadovnichy and Nikolai Bazhanov are among the prize-winners, the presidential press service said.

According to the data of the Kremlin press service, Putin also awarded special prizes to several young scientists for outstanding works in the science and technology sphere.
