Deadly virus in Malagasy Republic
A deadly unknown virus has caused 62 deaths within the last week in the Malagasy Republic, according to medical sources in Antananarive.
The symptoms of the killer virus are like the common cold, with a splitting headache, followed by muscular cramps in the neck and chest and a dry cough. It is highly contagious and unless there is immediate hospitalisation, it proves to be deadly.
The outbreak of this mystery disease is centred around the village of Ikongo, 470 kilometres southwest of the capital.
