Surgutneftegaz to post its financial statement tomorrow

The Russian oil and gas company Surgutneftegaz will release its financial statement for 2001 in compliance with US GAAP international accounting standards on November 20, 2002. On the same day, at 6 p.m. Moscow time, the company will hold a video conference with financial analysts and investors.

In spring of 2002, Surgutneftegaz posted its financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards for 1999 and 2000. The release of the statement for 2001 was postponed several times due to technical reasons.
