Giant Oil Tanker
The National IranianTanker Company ordered China to build 300,000-ton crude oil carrier. This is the first crude oil carrier of that size made in China. The size of the tanker is 333.5 meters long and 58 meters wide. The name of the ship is IRAN DELVAR.
The giant oil tanker was built by China's largest shipbuilder, Dalian New Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Company, at the port of Dalian in northeast China 's Liaoning Province.
The deal is worth 370 million US dollars, the largest of its kind for the Chinese shipbuilding industry.
The construction was started in August and finished this Saturday.
