Mosenergo Redeems Eurobonds

On October 8, the Mosenergo energy company redeemed $109.97m in Eurobonds and paid $4.605m in a coupon interest, thus repaying the entire Eurobond loan, the press service of the company reported to RBC.

The Mosenergo Eurobonds were issued on October 9, 1997. They amounted to $200m. Their circulation period was five years; the coupon yield was 8.375 percent. The attracted resources were used for financing the company's investment program and for replenishing its working assets.
