Two Grozny citizens suspected of committing saturday terrorist attack in Moscow

The police have established that the terrorist attack in Moscow last Saturday was committed by two citizens of the Chechen capital of Grozny, as RIA Novosti learned in the Russian capital's law-enforcement structures on Monday. Now the police are searching for the suspects. It has been established that they have Slavic last names.

A car exploded on Saturday near a McDonald's restaurant in Moscow, injuring eight people. One of them, a 17-year-old youth, died in hospital. Specialists stated that the car had contained a land mine filled with metallic cuts and balls.

According to the main version of the Moscow City Interior department, the cause of the explosion was a conflict between members of a Chechen organized criminal group.
