Middle East: Bus Bomb Explodes in Israel

A bus bomb has exploded near the northern Israeli city of Pardes Hannah, according to latest reports from witnesses in the area.

Pravda.Ru sources say hat the explosion occurred while the bus was travelling from Afula to Hadera, near Pardes Hannah. It is thought that a Palestinian terrorist entered the bus and activated the device, whole other witnesses claim that the cause of the explosion is more likely to be a car bomb because it took place in a parking lot and a car could have pulled up alongside the bus.

Israeli sources claim that the bus was totally destroyed by the blast. To date there are reports that ten people have died and forty injured. A high official from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has declared that Yasser Arafat is to blame, while Islamic Jihad claims responsibility for the attack.
