Over a hundred Chinese fishing vessels are taking refuge from an impending storm in Russia's exclusive economic zone near the Kurils, the press-center of the federal Frontier Service reports.
The consulate at the Chinese Embassy in Russia informed the Russian side in advance about the calling of Chinese vessels at Russia's exclusive economic zone in view of unfavourable weather conditions and in accordance with the international maritime law.
The vessels are supposed to be drifting until calm weather sets in. The Chinese ships are expected to take to the open sea at noon on October 23, by-passing Russia's harbours.
Earlier, in Mid-October, over 300 Chinese and Thai ships drifted in the Russian exclusive economic zone sheltering from a tornado, the Frontier Service noted.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
