Turkish ship "Crashed" Naval vessels in Novorossisk

Divers are examining the hulls of the Navy vessels damaged the day before in the port of Novorossiisk (Eastern coast of the Black Sea) by a Turkish ship.

A full list of damage done to the ships and hydroengineering equipment will be determined after the examination in order to draw the captain's protests against the accident. A full package of documents is being collected, which will permit an investigation into the accident.

According to the Southern regional center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, Tuesday night in the port of Novorossiisk an Istanbul-registered ship called "Marmara Princess" pressed several Russian Navy vessels. The crash came amidst increasing wind, with gusts up to 25 meters per second, at the very moment when the "Marmara Princess" was leaving the Geoport harbor.

The crash resulted in damaging the Navy vessels and the wharf. According to the Southern regional center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, there are no casualties or oil spill.
