Russian space air show exposition in China takes into account latest world tendencies and Asian countries' demands

The Russian exposition at "AIR SHOW CHINA'2" 4th international air space exhibition, which opened in the Chinese town of Chuhai takes into account the latest world tendencies in the military field and the demands of the Asian countries' armed forces. A representative of the Federal state unitary enterprise (FGUP) "Rosoboronexport", under the aegis of which 25 Russian defence enterprises and organisations display their products at the exhibition, said this to RIA Novosti.

In particular, practically the entire export range of Su family planes has been exhibited at the space air show, including multifunctional fighters Su-27SK, Su-30MK and Su-35/Su-35UB, Su-33 ship-based plane, Su-49 training plane and Su-32 fighter-bomber. A representative of Rosoboronexport pointed out that the Su-30MK multifunctional two-seater, which is well known throughout the world, has been purchased by a number of leading Asian countries "which is the basis of their military might." Another, also well known Russian developer and producer of air equipment - the Russian aircraft building corporation (RSK) "MiG" - shows the guests and participants in the exhibition MiG-29SMT multifunctional front-line fighter and MiG-AT training plane. In addition, the corporation presents detailed modernization programmes of MiG-29, MiG-21 and MiG-27 planes. "Such programmes have been already realized in a number of Asian countries which use these planes," stressed a Rosoboronexport representative.

"The actions of the anti-terror coalition in difficult high-mountain and desert conditions of Afghanistan," he said, "demonstrated a special role of helicopters, both combat and transport." That is why export variants of Kamov and Mil helicopters occupy a significant place in our exposition.

Other Russian exhibits include modern aviation and anti-ship missiles, various aircraft engines, aviation onboard radars, a wide range of optical-electronic systems, elements of board equipment for Sukhoi and Mikoyan planes families, and various systems for processing information for helicopters. The exhibition will last till November 7th.
