The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod region has decided to teach young parents how to take care of their children on the road. The region has launched "I was born in Nizhny Novgorod" project. Young mothers, who still stay at maternity hospitals, will receive special packages within the framework of the project. The information contained in the packages will teach women how to take care of their babies.
The project was organized by the First Special Agency, Road to Life Charity Foundation and the State Road Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In addition to the information about goods and services for newborns, each kit for young mothers will contain social leaflets and booklets. First priority attention will be paid to the safety of the children, who very often fall victims to their parents' mistakes. To avoid such mistakes, young mothers and fathers will be told how to transport newborns and preschool children, when to buy child safety seats and other devices.
Each package for young mothers also contains "Children in the car" stickers, beam deflectors and presents from Nizhny Novgorod companies.
The "I was born in Nizhny Novgorod" project will last for two months. As many as 1,500 packages are going to be distributed within the scope of the project.
