Bomb kills 4 in Colombia's Pacific port of Buenaventura

A bomb exploded in the Pacific port of Buenaventura on Friday morning, killing four people and injuring six.

"I have the painful duty to report, with sadness and anger, that this terrorist attack left four dead, and injured five civilians and one police officer," the regional governor, Angelino Garzon, told RCN radio. He added the bomb also damaged buildings and shops, reports AP.

Buenaventura, Colombia's largest port, is home to a violent turf war between leftist rebels, far-right paramilitaries and drug-traffickers.
