Fire broke out at Poland's embassy in the Thai capital before dawn Tuesday, just hours before it was to relocate to a new building, police said.
No injuries were reported and the blaze was put out by firefighters in about one hour, said police Lt. Col. Vijit Danthamrongkul. The cause and damage of the fire was being investigated.
The embassy was scheduled to move out of the five-story building Tuesday to a new location in the city, AP reports.
US President Joe Biden and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Qadimi signed an agreement on July 26 to formally end the USA's military presence in the country by the end of the year
