Twelve Bulgarians quit peacekeeping job in Iraq

Incidents

Twelve Bulgarian soldiers have returned home early from a peacekeeping mission in Karbala.

They quit the job after six other Bulgarian soldiers died while on duty in the holy Shiite city.

The 12 returnees are currently undergoing routine health checks.
