Type of explosive device used in Mozdok is known

The type of the explosive device used in the city of Mozdok, the North Caucasus, has been established, Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov told reporters.

According to his information, ammonium nitrate was used in the terrorist act when the Mozdok military hospital was blown up Friday. It was a device similar to those used in the latest terrorist acts in Moscow.

He said also that the person to whom the KAMAZ truck loaded with explosives had belonged was tracked down. But this information is not disclosed in the interests of investigation, the minister said.
