Two terrorist acts were prevented in Chechnya over the past 24 hours.
At about 14:00 Moscow time on Wednesday, police officers found a bomb made up of 15 kg of TNT near checkpoint No.1 in Grozny's Lenin district, a source in the Chechen Interior Ministry disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
At 11:00, policemen conducting an operation in the village of Martan-Chu, Urus-Martan district located an explosive device consisting of 3.5 kg of TNT, added the source.
