Basra bombings and air raids have been suspended to deliver humanitarian cargo to the city. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said that both the USA and Iraq had allowed humanitarian cargo to go via Basra.
Earlier, the ICRC voiced their wish to deliver humanitarian aid to Basra heavily bombed by the occupation forces for the past two weeks.
