Head Of Russian Orthodox Church Laid Wreath To The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier

Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Alexy II has laid a wreath to the tomb of the unknown soldier near the Kremlin Wall in Moscow. The patriarch delivered a congratulating address to the servicemen of the guard of honour. In his speech, the patriarch identified the victory in the Great Patriotic War as an unparalleled exploit of our entire people. It is important that those tragic days would never return, stressed the head of the Russian Orthodox Church. He expressed the hope that the 21st century would become the age of peace and kindness for our country.
