Servicemen of the Russian Interior Ministry forces' group detained six people as a result of reconnaissance and search measures and special operations in Chechnya, on suspicion of being involved in illegal armed formations activity. The group staff reported that three militants were found in the village of Oktyabrskoye. They put up armed resistance and were killed. In the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny the federal forces started firing at a group of militants, who were trying to set an explosive device on the curb. During the search of the crime scene a killed militant with no IDs, a hand-made explosive and a radio-controlled device for blowing up a high-explosive bomb were found. A car filled with explosives was detected and destroyed in the Leninsky district of Grozny.
