German Humanitarian Aid Cargo For Kaliningrad Found Containing Poisons, Explosives

On the border with the Kaliningrad region Russian customs officers discovered poisons and explosives in a shipment of humanitarian aid from Germany. The Kaliningrad region is the Westernmost tip of Russia. The humanitarian aid was destined for the local Baptist church. Customs officers say that the truck carrying the humanitarian aid from Germany was found having 52 items of undeclared medical goods. Among them experts discovered poisons -- mercury and salts, potassium cyanide -- and an explosive -- tramadol hydrochloride. A criminal case has been initiated.
