Press Secretary Of The Armenian Airline Confirmed That The Crew Of The An-24 Aircraft Saw An Explosion In The Area Where The Tu-154 Aircraft Crashed

Tamara Sarkisyan, press secretary of the Armenian airlines, confirmed at the meeting with journalists that the crew of the Armenian AN-24 aircraft on route from Simferopol to Yerevan really saw "a flash, an explosion" in the area where the Russian TU-154 aircraft fell and reported that to ground services. In reply to the request to meet with the pilot-in-command or the crew she stated that presently an investigation of accident causes was being conducted. In reply to the question whether the crew was in a state of stress, the press secretary stated that "the condition of the crew was normal as the pilot was able to safely land the aircraft".
