Russia's Defense Ministry Has No Information On Launch Of A Missile From Crimean Peninsula Which Has Downed Tu-154, As Western Media Say

The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry has no information on launch of an antiaircraft missile from the Crimean peninsula which has ostensibly shot down the Tu-154 passenger airliner. On Thursday Colonel Nikolai Deryabin, chief of the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry, told RIA Novosti that "we comment on established trustworthy facts, not versions, of emergencies". Colonel Deryabin confirmed that a special commission appointed by President Vladimir Putin is working on site of the crash. "The commission will supply information and conclusions", he said.
